Let me start off by saying....what the heck, family? Why don't you comment?? haha. I know its not a big deal, but it's nice to know whether or not my blog is being read.
Moving on....
Our amazing photographer, Jun Sung took our pictures last Saturday and emailed me a few samples. I will get the rest of the pictures tomorrow. I can't wait! Here are a few of the ones that Jun emailed me:
I think I should sell this one to Sammy's. Don't we look like we are in a Sammy's ad?? I like how colorful it turned out!!
This one is more like an ad for a second rate perfume. But we still like it.
I love this last one. Jun made it look so cool! I just wish I didn't look like I was giving the camera the stink eye. Jordan looks dreamy in it. Ooh lala!
That's it for now...stay tuned.
(Augh! This is my last post as a 22 year old! I'm going to miss being 22!!)

Purple never looked good on me anyway.
Jordan and I have been very anxious to hear back from the two graduate schools that I applied to, seeing that they are our first choice. I've checked the mail everyday with high hopes of hearing from Eastern. I called the school about two weeks ago to check n my status and they said I should receive my application response (or whatever it's called) in about two weeks sooooooo each day I was expecting to hear from Eastern.
Today Jordan walked home with me from school and we decided to check the mail together. Sure enough, there was something in there!
It was a small envelope from UW. Boo. Not a good sign. Jordan remained optimistic. He kept saying, "Think positive! You don't know what it says!" I, on the other hand, could smell the rejection. I opened and read the sucky lines, "Sonja, we are sorry to inform you...yadda yadda yadda." Bottom line: Not going to be a huskey.
I was pretty disappointed. I really wanted to live close to family and be able to experience living in the actual city, Seattle. But we are hoping on Eastern and if we get in there, little Cheney Washington will be our home for a year. Jordan promised me that we could try to go to Seattle as often as possible.
So, we can cross UW off the list. Now let's keep our fingers crossed for Eastern.

Huzzah.
I found out last Friday that I got into OU-Tulsa for grad school! I had a major fear that none of the three schools would accept me, so its nice to know that someone likes me. I got into their Advanced-Standing program, meaning I'll have my MSW by June of next year. We are still waiting to hear from Washington schools, as they are our first choice. Now I'm just playing the ever so fun game of waiting for the mail to arrive every day. Hate. It.

Wedding Dress: The REAL one!
Remember how one of my blog posts from yester-year it said that I didn't have pictures of my dress because the dress shop didn't allow any photos? Well, such petty rules are no match for my ever so sneaky friend Melissa. She went with me to the bridal shop and took some secret pictures of me in the dressing room. (Wow, that sounds much more scandalous that than it actually is!) To cover the sound of the click from her camera, I was talking loudly in each picture; hence, the weird faces in some of them.
So.....Here is......the.......or I should say MY.......WEDDING DRESS!
Now let's go in for a closer look, eh? Here is the bottom of the dress:
I absolutely LOVE me dress, but I didn't have one of those stories where I walked into a store, saw the dress, and KNEW it was mine. I narrowed my choices down to two beautiful dresses and had to try each of them on literally over a dozen times before deciding. I even had to "say goodbye" to the other dress and still think about how pretty it was. I'm glad I chose the dress that I did, but I thought it would be nice to pay tribute to the other wonderful gown.
Presenting....The Runner-Up
My favorite part of this dress was its back. I couldn't get over how pretty it was!
It will some lucky girl very happy *sniff sniff*
